Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming ★★★

"If you're nothing with without the suit, then you don't deserve to have it."

I was a little disappointed. To me this film didn't really work as neither a comic book movie, or high school coming-of-age story. The chemistry between Peter and Liz was so flat and boring. Michael Keaton's villian was above average for the MCU, but still not very memorable. Tom Holland nailed the role of being a young high school Spider-Man, but I honestly expected more from him after the cameo in Civil War.

I didn't hate this film... 3 stars still constitutes as a good film. Spider-Man is my favorite comic book hero, so maybe the hype got to me. I'd re-watch it.
