Portrait of a Lady on Fire

“‘i remember the first time i wanted to kiss you.’
    ‘tell me.’
‘when you asked me if i had ever felt love. i could tell the answer was yes. and that it was now.’”

such a stunning movie. that’s the word i thought of 10 minutes in and it remained to be true through the entire film. the colors are so vibrant yet the story so remorseful. i feel as though the saddest stories are always the most pretty.

  • Fear Street: 1666

    Fear Street: 1666

ahhhh let me gather my thoughts.
okay.. WOWIE there were so many plot twists in this final installment of the Fear Street trilogy and it was all so gorey. i was not prepared for that amount of gore in movies based on children’s horror books. it was good gore tho! they didn’t overdo it. i think that Janiak tied the whole thing up quite nicely. i really enjoyed the fact that they waited to explain what happened in 1666 instead…

  • Fear Street: 1978

    Fear Street: 1978

killer soundtrack in this one. i liked it a little better than part 1 because i’m a sucker for summer camp massacre movies. the end had me SCREAMING it was such a big twist holy hell. i had to pause and process it. they had me in the first half ngl.
it’s beginning to make sense why they started with 1994 and are going backwards. i like how they’re all connected. those ties make a lot of sense and i think they did a good job pulling the two movies together. really pumped to watch the last part of this trilogy

  • Fear Street: 1994

    Fear Street: 1994

decent slasher film. my one issue with it is WHY THE HELL DIDNT SHE START WITH CPR?? miss your girlfriend is literally dead forget the epi  pens do CPR THE FUCK. overall tho i actually really like the premise and am very interested to see why they go backwards in time rather than forwards. & if you were brave enough to read R.L. Stein books as a child props to you. i read a maximum of 5 and they’re all still very vivid in my memory. scarred me to say the least lol

  • Charlie's Angels

    Charlie's Angels

the effie trinket finnick odair reunion we didn’t know we needed. i think i enjoyed this adaptation a little better than the original except for the fact that noah centipede is in it. minus half a star for that & i will be pretending like he didn’t ruin the ending by being in it lmao. a really great film with quite a bit of twists. once again, kristen stewart i love you
