    Fear Street: 1978

killer soundtrack in this one. i liked it a little better than part 1 because i’m a sucker for summer camp massacre movies. the end had me SCREAMING it was such a big twist holy hell. i had to pause and process it. they had me in the first half ngl.
it’s beginning to make sense why they started with 1994 and are going backwards. i like how they’re all connected. those ties make a lot of sense and i think they did a good job pulling the two movies together. really pumped to watch the last part of this trilogy

  • Fear Street: 1994

    Fear Street: 1994

decent slasher film. my one issue with it is WHY THE HELL DIDNT SHE START WITH CPR?? miss your girlfriend is literally dead forget the epi  pens do CPR THE FUCK. overall tho i actually really like the premise and am very interested to see why they go backwards in time rather than forwards. & if you were brave enough to read R.L. Stein books as a child props to you. i read a maximum of 5 and they’re all still very vivid in my memory. scarred me to say the least lol

  • Charlie's Angels

    Charlie's Angels

the effie trinket finnick odair reunion we didn’t know we needed. i think i enjoyed this adaptation a little better than the original except for the fact that noah centipede is in it. minus half a star for that & i will be pretending like he didn’t ruin the ending by being in it lmao. a really great film with quite a bit of twists. once again, kristen stewart i love you

  • Fantastic Mr. Fox

    Fantastic Mr. Fox

so visually pleasing. i was never bored and i really liked the end scene where they danced in the supermarket. i was taken aback by dumbledore being the voice of Bean lol. overall a really fun movie that i will watch again sometime

  • The Cat in the Hat

    The Cat in the Hat

i avoided watching this until i was 14 because i thought the mike myers in this movie was the murderer from Halloween (we as a society don’t talk enough abt how mike myers’ face looks like the michael myers mask).
if the words ‘fever dream’ ever applied to a film it would be this one. it grows increasingly more bizarre & arguably funnier the older i get

  • Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

it’s been like 13 years since i’ve seen this movie & it is exactly how i remember it. 2004 lindsay lohan + 2004 megan fox = iconic. the outfits in this movie were so good holy hell. the soundtrack was even better. i love old disney channel original movies

  • Teen Beach Movie

    Teen Beach Movie

“He acts all proper and British but he's from Pittsburgh.”
how did 12 yr old me not realize tanner is unbelievably gay. the songs in this movie slapped in 2013 and they slap now idc. i think about Cruisin for a Bruisin at least once a week. mack is our feminist icon and ross lynch is hot. love love love

  • Pixel Perfect

    Pixel Perfect

so painfully 2004. another movie danny gonzalez made me watch which i immediately ended up regretting

  • Napoleon Dynamite

    Napoleon Dynamite

truly never gets old. i love the fever dream that this movie is so much; every scene is a masterpiece. jon heder is one of my favorite comedic actors ever. iconic looks, killer dance moves, classic songs. what’s not to love?

  • Big Fish

    Big Fish

We’re like strangers who knew each other very well.”
have you ever started a movie and within the first minute known it was going to break your heart? known that the story that lay ahead was destined to make you cry so hard you couldn’t catch a breath? i had that feeling with Big Fish. i’ve never started a Tim Burton movie other than Frakenweenie and known right away that it would dissolve me to a heaping mess…

wow i loved this movie so much. it didn’t feel overly cheesy like some comedies of the time do and i really respect that, especially when the plot is as crazy and far-fetched as it is. what i would give to go to the south harmon institute of technology (S.H.I.T if you will) rather than my 4-year private university where everything feels so rigid. justin long’s monologue at the end in the courtroom was so, so good. he nailed it.…
