CaliGula’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tarantino has lost all interest in traditional form, of time and place. I can't say it always works, but I can see where these inflated sequences and odd flows come from. Certainly from the culture he references. A car sequence in the beginning clearly breaks the 180° rule, as you would in a commercial or a clip. That is where we are.
That would not be enough if it wasn't for his capacity to make intensity shatter the screen. It takes indeed a while to become a film but it does. And when it does, you'd wish it wasn't over.
