Zombieland: Double Tap is the Ghostbusters II of zombie movies.
I don’t mean to be mean, but seriously they had 10 years to come up with something. 10 YEARS!!!
If this was a 2010 money grab it wouldn’t excuse it, but at least I’d understand it. There’s a couple of decent ideas, but then this movie has no idea what to do with them.
By the time the third act rolls around all of the nostalgia has worn off and that’s a shame because the third act is horrendous. At one point I fully expected the characters to look at one another and say, “Anybody else got any good ideas?” Not about the zombies, but about the script.
Bonus Points to Madison for being one of the few things that actually worked.
Do you know why she’s still alive!?!…
