Based on the marketing, I was never convinced this would be as good as everyone says it was, but man I was so wrong. This could have been handled so poorly, but I really have no complaints. The cast is fantastic, the soundtrack makes me want to scream about how great it is and it never has a dull moment. There are so many great scenes, so many. It's a Scorsese imitation done right. The editing is snappy, and all…

Absolutely chaotic from start to finish. It’s one of the most visually gorgeous films I’ve seen and this is probably due to Pedro Almodóvar’s masterful ability to compose a shot and Antonio Banderas’ face

This is just Scooby-Doo (2002) but complete garbage.

Like all PTA's works "Phantom Thread" is as technically perfect as a film can get. He crafts complex characters within an unconventional story that subverted all my expectations. The cinematography is almost as gorgeous as the set design. The direction the story went in was absolutely bonkers and I loved it. The score is amazing and I'm making it my new go-to study music since the semester starts on Monday.

A PTA love story is truly like no other.
