Carson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I watched The Pursuit of Happyness when I was younger, and it's nice to know that a film that carries a pure and inevitably passionate message prevails the test of time. Will Smith gives the best performance of his career. A heart-wrenching tale, but one that makes you grateful for what you have...doesn't confine itself to one audience because of the big and relatable themes. We all are on the same pursuit no matter what race, gender, or background you confine yourself to -- what we can't do is avoid this journey and message this film exudes so nicely.
