Finding your purpose in life is something I’ve struggled with. I’ve tried so many activities from a very young age, like ballet, soccer, acro, gymnastics, viola, guitar, swimming, volleyball, Girl Scouts, painting, drawing, basketball, etc. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to try all those things, but none of them have ever clicked with me. None of them have made me feel as passionate about them as Joe feels about piano and jazz. I’ve always dreaded the get-to-know-me question…

I really love the way this movie portrays dementia. We go inside the mind of someone with this disease and find out how lonely it is. This is one of those movies you don’t think is gonna be as good as everyone says it’s is until you actually watch it. Anthony Hopkins has had an astonishing career and it amazes me that at 83, he’s given possibly the best performance of his entire career. Olivia Coleman is a great support…

    In The Heights

Every song and dance number is so vibrant and filled with colour. It’s cheesy and predictable, but it makes you feel good, so who cares??? Definitely a perfect movie for the summer, which makes sense that that’s when it’s officially coming out. This makes you feel like you’re actually living in this neighbourhood and like you’ve known these people all your life. Feels a bit too long for my liking, but it’s fun and sweet nonetheless.

+ What’s up with this movie and weird patchy beards????

    Hooptober 7.0

I knew that this was gonna be a weird one, but I was not prepared for the level of weirdness this achieved. Right off the bat, it feels different. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. When you think that you’re starting to get used to the atmosphere of this movie, it does a complete 180 and you’re back to where you started. I’m sure this has so much symbolism and hidden meanings, but I have literally no clue what the hell I just watched😄😄😄😄 It was fun tho!!

    My Neighbor Totoro

I needed a pick-me-up, and this definitely did the job. My Neighbour Totoro is a movie you can’t help but love. I don’t even know how many times I’ve watched it, but it doesn’t matter. It gets better with every rewatch. It’s filled to the brim with magic, and the way it encapsulates child-like joy and wonder, genuinely makes you feel like a little kid again for 86mins. I can’t even put into words how much I love this movie.…
