this was the perfect sequel. it feels like you’re in love with both of the main characters. you see them through the other character’s lenses and notice little details that make you fall harder. you even catch small things that both of them don’t notice. it seems obvious to you, but the characters are caught up in their own internal conflicts that they’re too in denial or afraid of the situation. a situation that’s so complex, beautiful, and personal all at the same time that it makes you feel everything they’re feeling. i loved that this movie was more realistic than the first one. the chemistry between jesse and celine feels even more organic. the ending made me cry, and i genuinely don’t understand how it couldn’t make anyone else feel a full spectrum of emotions.
