Just a clown who likes movies.
It’s been nearly 10 years since I watched The Sopranos, and I might have enjoyed this more had I watched the show more recently. I appreciate that Michael Gandolfini was cast as a younger version of the character that made his dad famous, but everyone else felt like they were doing SNL impressions of the show’s characters (which I actually enjoyed at times, particularly John Magaro’s Silvio). What I struggle with is that this is yet another unnecessary film continuation…
One year ago today Kevin and I risked our lives by driving to Ohio to see this masterpiece. A lot has happened to me since then: I got a girlfriend, I got a pet bunny, I started student teaching. However, one thing has remained constant— I am no closer to understanding this movie than I was the first time I saw it. Good stuff! Happy TENET Day to me and me only
Convinced that an incredible movie could be made about The Donner Party and Forlorn Hope, but this ain’t it, chief.
The movie literally ends halfway through the true story, which makes me wonder if the filmmakers ran out of money or were just too lazy to finish it. Who knows and who cares?
