timmy S E R V E D! i know the point is that the story is about all of them, but the lack of real main character (i guess you could call jo the protagonist?) made it difficult for me to really connect with the characters even though i have so much in common with them and it should have been easy :/ i feel like i didn't really get to know them as characters — they felt like caricatures of a writer, a painter, a musician, and an actress who just wanted to get married??? greta made this for people who are already familiar with the source material and didn't work to make me Care........ decisions were made when editing and not all of them were good
p.s. florence pugh can barely pass for 20 so why was she 13 for like 70% of her screentime?
p.p.s. WHY DID GRETA CAST BOB ODENKIRK FOR HIM TO SAY, "MY LITTLE WOMEN!" AND ONLY BE IN THE FILM FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES?!????
