Episodes 1 and 2
The MCU has finally taken a risk, stepping away from a tried and tested formulaic structure and it has absolutely paid off. This is my favorite piece of media produced under Disney’s MCU label thus far, and hopefully the rest of the series is as good.

Misleading Title: This movie was in fact super good

Far and away the best x-men movie, albeit not very comic book accurate. /s

But seriously what a performance from Jake Gyllenhaal. However, in the same way that joker was carried by Phoenix, Nightcrawler is carried by Gyllenhaal‘s performance. Take gyllenhaal out of this movie and it is nowhere near as enthralling, with decent at best writing, cinematography and direction.
