Titane ★★★★½

I understand where some detractors are coming from about its imprecise targets and blunt symbols, but I see intention in its broad strokes. As much as Raw is (to me!) stewing in the blessing and curse of siblings, this one untangles how the child-parent relationship can be both damaging and a salvation. Moves me that what cracks Alexia’s vulnerability is that moment where a child becomes the caregiver (it comes for most of us eventually!). Wish I could show this to my mom, but like, come on now.
