Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

As good as I’ve always heard. Not just the movie—the entire dang series. An absolute revelation and a rethinking of the cosmic on deeply human terms. One of the most powerful suggestions of why we build human systems to escape trauma and connect with one another. A mind-boggling recontextualization of religious imagery that fuses all spirituality together into one coherent whole. For there is no difference between God and a child.

Truly one of the best and for that reason it earns a well-deserved “Liked” on my Letterboxd.
