BOO!zen’s review published on Letterboxd:
this is one of my favorite docs, not because it is one of the best films out there, but because the subject matter spoke to me.
to love a book so much, that you make a film to find out what happened to the writer, because seemingly you are the only one in the world who cares? as artists, isn't this what it's all about - to create something that connects with someone, even if it is just one person?
and his joseph heller tribute....not a fan of heller, but even i was moved by that.
anyway, only logging this because i am looking for the stones of summer, but can only find used copies online. ordinarily that's not a problem, but my struggle with ocd at this time is overwhelming. i should make a film about trying to find a new copy of stones.
