Somewhere between Inception, eXistenZ, and pure nightmares this movie was created in a dark, twisted little corner. Cronenberg comes by some of the body horror honestly, but is also more than capable of pushing past mere inspiration. There's a moment when one character "melts" away, and that image will stay with me for a long time. Riseborough and Abbott are both very good. It's very stylish, and it can be a little indulgent at times (but really who cares). Not for the faint of heart.
