this movie invented queer fashion. every day i wake up and put on my donna sheridan overalls.

i watched this on full volume immediately after my dad hit me! so that really changed the way i perceived bender’s off-screen subplot

edward deserves so so much more out of life than he got. he just wanted to be loved by the people around him. 

also i don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but i think the reason the suburbia in the movie was so exaggerated was because we were seeing it through edward’s eyes.

okay, two things. first: i really enjoyed it. mostly because i could relate to enid and rebecca’s friendship dynamic. that being said, some of the jokes don’t entirely hold up today. it was still pretty good though.
