Then there are visual effects that make you go 'huh, I guess they just went and filmed this on an actual desert planet with real spaceships and ornithopters'
Captures professional wrestling at its bleakest - godlike, larger-than-life icons of the ring reduced to physical wrecks addicted to the roar of an adoring crowd. Broken old men going back to the very thing that broke them because they have nothing - and nobody - else in their lives. It's sad and deeply moving.
A terrific performance from Mickey Rourke. He's so believable it hurts.
