Some hobo with a VCR.
Long, badly acted, horribly hammered to the MCU. Feels like the writing was meant to be in a TV Show, but then it was shortened into almost nothing. The Deviants subplot, that powers the whole movie, just fades out in the third act and the "Twist" plot line that is bigger than life or even the universe, just shrinks innocently like Constanza's dick after emerging from the cold pool. No real plan, just the power of wishful thinking.
Sometimes I wonder why I hate so much modern fantasy blockbusters. Is it for the excessive CGI, is it for the focus on fire works instead of characters and story or it's just because I'm turning into a bitter old man, like mr Wilson (The old geezer neighboor of Dennis the menace).
Then I watch The NeverEnding Story and I think "Oh yeah, that's why... They don't make this kind of magic anymore".
