    "I don't know what I'm gonna do"

this film is just as good, fun and anxiety-inducing on a second watch. as someone who usually dreads family gatherings this plot alone is basically a nightmare, but together with the directing and score it becomes truly terrifying at times. you can feel danielle's anxiety and discomfort as it progressively gets worse. rachel sennott portrays this perfectly and her performance is a big part of what makes this film so great.

kristen wiig and annie mumolo invented comedy together

I love rewatching this film because I always laugh, intensely relate to annie and her midlife crisis even though I'm only 21, and feel better afterwards

I'm glad I watched this, because I had almost forgotten what it's like to watch a true crime documentary that's actually good, but damn it was infuriating to watch. I just can't believe the audacity some of these people and the press had in the face of a tragedy like this. I could not stand that english guy who calls himself a journalist, just sitting there gushing about how many front page stories he got... when a woman was murdered and people lost years of their lives after being wrongfully convicted. how does he live with himself?

I've been watching so many films about queer summer love stories lately... if something like this doesn't happen to me this summer I'm suing.
