The mystery of life isn’t a problem to solve, but a reality to experience.
I fell so in love with the world building created by the meticulous attention to the original story, the BOOMING score, the cinematography, and the overall stellar performances that I could’ve watched part two right then and there in the dolby cinema. That truly is saying A LOT coming from someone who can barely handle anything with a runtime longer than 100 minutes.
After watching Titane, I think it’s best to go in with basically no expectation or idea of what this film is about. I know this statement is said a lot, but this film is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Thinking that you know what’s gonna happen next will only disorient and distract you from the brilliance onscreen. So, I’ll leave you with this: once you accept the demented yet wholesome yet grotesque yet beautiful journey that you’re about to go on while watching Titane,
you’re in for a wild ride.
