As one of the most anticipated films of the year, Jane Campion's fresh take on westerns with "The Power of The Dog" has been one of the most special films of the entire year. This, while not necessarily my favorite of 2021, will definitely go down as an all time classic and will be what 2021 is remembered for in terms of movies.

The movie is directed by Jane Campion, who answers her 12 year absence with one of theโ€ฆ

On paper King Richard seemed like a very good movie. A great cast, interesting subject matter, and a unique sport to frame a film around, I was excited for King Richard. And while it wasn't bad, I can't say this lived up to my expectations.

The acting from Will Smith is probably the best part, even if I can't necessarily say he's one of the best performances of the year. He's perfectly fine and does a good job, but Iโ€ฆ

One of the best portrayals of a terrible era in American history. 12 Years A Slave, among nearly every positive quality there you can say, is a towering achievement in modern cinema.

Steve McQueen masterfully portrays one of the most brutal and disgusting time periods of America. He holds nothing back in terms of the terrible conditions people were forced to suffer through when enslaved. Some of these scenes are real difficult to watch which and the fact that eventsโ€ฆ

This was such a fun film. Inglourious Basterds is such an energetic and entertaining thrill ride, and a film experience I absolutely loved.

I haven't seen many Tarantino movies, but something about their unique flare and pacing is so appealing to me. For such a dark topic as the Holocaust, Tarantino brings a level of enjoyment to it that I only think someone like himself could've pulled off. His sharp sense of writing is the primary thing that makes Inglouriousโ€ฆ

I will never understand why DC is already starting production on this, which is following up a sequel that hasn't been very good instead of focusing on a film with universal hype like The Batman. Do you guys not understand why Marvel is better?
