I don’t know what I was expecting but it was certainly not that 

Although it is very Lynch-esque, this film has it’s own unique style and narrative and the performances are otherworldly and deserve much praises 

It is a snow-white canvas upon which the spectator can project his/her emotions and thoughts and I reckon your appreciation of this film depends a lot on how you are feeling while watching it

“There is kindness in the world, you know? You have to search for it, but it’s there”

Now I need to watch a documentary on the subject, don’t feel like I can talk about this film before I do 

From a strictly cinematic point of view, it was engaging throughout with interesting mise en scene and characterization.
I particularly appreciated the different temporality which kept the thing interesting and suspenseful

Dialogues are very polished, pompous sometimes as you might imagine from a film by Sorkin but given the setting it didn’t bother me as much as I though it would
