Paul W.S. Anderson’s masterpiece. I hope he’s allowed to make more of these forever and ever. My only gripe is the boring location, while there is a desert represented in the game, it also features more fantasy driven locations with amazing environments, plus you never see a Rathalos in the desert.
I played around 200 hours of Monster Hunter World on the PS4 and there were times where this felt like I was playing it again. When Milla slings her way on top of the Diabolos to stab him in the head with the sword, it reminded me of one of my favorite things to do in the game.
It’s too bad I couldn’t see this in theaters, it’s the perfect popcorn blockbuster that’s made for the big screen.
