Slowly consuming all the amazing cinema I missed when I was younger
This has to be one of Sono's most aesthetically attractive films to date. The whole bank scene is gorgeous. You can feel the amazing vibes of the film set ooze through the screen as this is such a joy to watch. I am so goddamn glad that I got to watch this in a cinema because I'm enamoured.
This has become one of my new top 4 films I have ever watched. Literally everything about it is so perfect and the comedy is some of the greatest I have ever seen.
If you are also unaware, this film is now watchable on Shudder Australia so you can watch it completely legally. And I would strongly recommend that you do.
Please do not watch any trailers for this film as it contains massive spoilers. Also try to avoid reading too many of the synopsises for this as they fall in spoiler territory occasionaly as well. Letterboxd's bio is safe though.
If you are still somehow out of the loop, My friends and I put together this little short film, and it's premiere screening is tonight as part of North Bellarine Film Festival's 2020 emerging film-maker award lineup.
Feel free to go and check it out if you have the chance because I am so proud of everyone that worked with me in making this.
