Far from perfect but easily the most fun I've had at the movies all year. To get the problems out of the way first, some of the CGI effects are iffy, not every joke sticks the landing, and the first 20 or so minutes a little messy, but once this film gets going I had a total blast. Reynolds is terrific once again but Beetz really impressed me as Domino and Brolin kills it as Cable. The action sequences are even better this time around and David Leitch does a fantastic job directing them. And when the jokes land, they land very very hard. The mid credits scene is a new all timer, trying to remember the last time I laughed as hard. Also like any superhero movie, stay away from spoilers, there's actually quite a few unexpected turns this film takes and things I didn't see coming, so go in as blind as possible. "Deadpool 2" is a satisfying and extremely enjoyable sequel. It doesn't quite reach the heights of the first film, and in reality this movie is probably a 3.5 star film but just by how much fun I had with my audience, I'm going the extra half star. Would recommend.
