Dom’s review published on Letterboxd:
To preface this review, Josh Duhamel has been one of my guilty pleasure favorite actors for a longgg time.
With that said, oh boy this was a trip! I felt that this movie took itself wayyy too seriously. Like I actually enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters. But then they decided to do some REALLY weird back story that takes away from the ~romance~ that I was looking forward to.
On top of a drawn out story, the editing in this movie can be very amateur at times. Like 3 or 4 scenes have the same editing and audio as my intro to film classes. Like bad. When it's so bad that it takes me out of a Josh Duhamel Romance movie, I have to knock it.
I want to not like this, but I just can't do my dawg Josh dirty.
