Two hours before watching my most anticipated film from last year, I took a little over 100 micrograms of LSD (1 and 1/2 tabs, and to be honest it was much more enjoyable experience than watching Irreversible or I Stand Alone on acid, Enter the Void is definitely a good film to trip with, but those car scene are some of the most affecting scenes in any movie for me. All of that aside this was my first psychedelic experience with a Noe film I haven’t seen. I felt comfortable doing this with the Holy Mountain, but was certainly concerned about this. I’m surprised to say it was everything I wanted it be. I need watch the film again obviously but in my acid filled mind, the most impressive aspect of this was just the authenticity of character action. Acid logic is full swing and it’s really impressive sight to see that level of understanding on the screen.
