Wilbur Mercer’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ve never read the book, but it’s so famous you feel like you know enough to get the picture. I would say that this could be spooktober themed, one could say this is a horror movie. Peck is just on another level, and the script is great. Don’t know how much is straight from the book, and how much is where creative liberties are taken. It really shows all facets of what one could want in a movie like this. The action isn’t really dated and gets the point across.
