Coogler is an amazing virtuoso of a fimmaker, often able to bring out the very strongest performances, the deepest of themes, and the most mesmerizing of atmospheres in a way that shows such grace, but I honestly wonder if Disney thinks that Mookie shouldn’t have thrown the trash can.
