The first Marvel film in over 2 years (due to COVID) and a send off for Black Widow/Scarlett Johansson. Unfortunately, the convoluted plot and mixed tone of the film make for an uneasy viewing experience. The action sequences are top notch, but the damage sustained by Black Widow would cripple most humans and she walks away without a scratch every time. The main villain is a pathetic letdown with almost no screen time, and no fighting prowess, and his henchman 'Taskmaster' is intriguing, but ultimately wasted as a mindless killing machine. Florence Pugh is a bright spot who will go on to star in many more Marvel films, but Johansson deserved better for her final outing. overall, its one of the weaker MCU films.
