The more times I watch it the less I mind it and find it more entertaining. When compared to other Czech comedies about relationships it does stand out.

For a movie that's about the clan it really doesn't speak on the xenophobia and racism. At the same time it explores the mentality behind people joining them and not really standing up against it. That was interesting. It also speaks on sexism and some of it is hard to watch but they never cross the line of it being too much. The acting is very melodramatic so I went along with it but there was one thing that bothers…

Movie exploring the relationship between kids and a new girlfriend their father is dating. Relatable and very realistic in this sense. It's a shame the original idea is built on at the expense of mental illness. It was done in poor taste in my opinion. The exploration of trauma wasn't done very well.

Highly stylised movie. Style over substance.
Plot wise, I got a bit lost, it's a lot to take in all at once and it's definitely a movie that deserves a rewatch. That being said, I won't be able to rewatch it right away, it's just a lot and honestly it got quite tiring to watch it.
The movie changes aspect ratios which I'm not a huge fan and it only happens sometimes. I'll have to find the reasoning behind changing…

We get a look at different relationships, different people and their lives. The movie seems quite intimate and quite realistic. But unfortunately it's just one those movies I'll forget I even watched. There's missing something that would make this film stand out from the other movies dealing with similar topic.

I can't believe I haven't seen this movie before. It's a really fun adventure movie with some horror elements, you could say, really tame horror but I'll take what I can get. The characters are pretty stereotypical, I guess, but they're charming and fun at the same so I didn't really have a problem with that. I like when movies mix real stuff like real history with fantasy so I was really happy about the story here. It takes a…

It's an alright movie I just hoped for it to be more fun. It would either have to be more funny, scary or gory, to be really fun. Samara Weaving was great though it's just not a movie I would rewatch probably. The idea is cool I guess.

Another movie I used to rewatch a lot in primary school. I think I wouldn't like it as much if it weren't for the nostalgia. It's a pretty generic fantasy movie that actually follows the narrative of "the chosen one". And the chosen one constantly puts everyone in danger. I do like Kristen Stewart as Snow White but I don't like the way she's written - she's very much the opposite of empowering and independent woman and I think it…

Sometimes I'm scared of rewatching my favourite movies, it's been a few years... I still think this movie is perfect, it doesn't have the same kind of effect on me as it did when I was in high school and watched it for the first time but that's what makes each viewing interesting - it's always different and it's possible to take away something different from it every time. It's depressing, sad but also hopeful in a strange way -…
