One of the greatest coming of age, road trip movies ever made. And one of my biggest inspirations also.
The sad reality of many of the lower class people from Mexico that get fucked over by their government. The sad reality of terminal illnesses that can happen to anyone out of nowhere. The sad reality of this 'macho' (homophobic) culture that exists in latin america that stopped two best friends from loving each other... The only reality in which "la vida es como la espuma, por eso hay que darse como el mar"
("Nunca se volvieron a ver" saddest sentence ever written in a script.)
