Ultraman series is one of the most favorite Tokusatsu for me even now, but 2008 outing from this series "Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers" is bodaciously unambitious, abominably conservative film in which what expands obnoxiously is clumsily straightforward storytelling without dextrous abbreviation and ugly structure of personality absolutely dependent on gender stereotypes stabilized in Japanese culture, which makes me speachless. You must not make a film only because of nostarlgia.

The dead body of an Armenian soldier from Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is sent to Baku with some turbulence in "Hər şey yaxşılığa doğru", a complex, monochromely absurd tragicomedy which explores Azerbaijan's national consciousness as a part of South Caucasus region, absolutely different from other outings about the conflict, although humor in foreign conuntries is one of the most difficult to understand, you know, so I must study about Azerbaijan's culture more to understand this film.

Wow, this is one of the most thrilling discoveries in recent memory. "Libahunt" is a kaleidscopic cinematic poetry in which past and present, reality and illusion convolutedly appear and disappear with sinister atmosphere. Franticness full of ranbamctious energy, exquisite madness in the forest, beautifully sharp monochrome with ominous sounds. All the elements exists in it with true harmony. Estonian masterpiece. Leida Laius is one of best auteurs nobody knows.
