    Was a real slow burn at times but it all pays off by the end. Dani and Jamie’s relationship was easily my favourite part of the show, the child performances were better than expected and Mike Flanagan’s fingerprints are all over it.

    Just want to express my sadness at how overlooked this film has been in terms of Academy Awards recognition.

    I know some films like Uncut Gems, Midsommar and The Farewell didn’t get a single nomination - which I also think is ridiculous - but I really think The Lighthouse deserves to be competing in at least 6 major categories (score, cinematography, actor, supporting actor, director and picture).
