I'm here because I thought this might be another Lacey Chabert gem.
Things that make this show fab:
- literally everyone pressuring a 21-year-old college student to take on the responsibility of her 7-year-old half-sister who she doesn't know at all.
- her school and social life crumbling because of it and people still telling her she needs to be responsible and isn't actually an adult bc she can't handle it.
- her boyfriend talking with her mom on the phone for awhile about the child living with her grandparents when the mom and bf met during this film, set within a 6-week period.
All in all, it was the gem I expected lmao
