Nada Films’s review published on Letterboxd:
One thing I will admit is that the movie has a pretty noticeable problem with it’s dubbing where you can just tell that the characters were saying one thing and the audio says another. It can be pretty distracting at times BUT despite this noticeable flaw, Dazed and Confused is a film that perfectly captures the feeling of floating when one feels lost and is wandering everywhere trying to make a vital decision in their life. The film has a plot but at the same time the plot is not of vital importance you know what what I mean? What’s really important about the film is the characters and their interactions whole being complemented by the legendary soundtrack filled with 70’s classics that perfectly capture the vibes the movie was looking for.
The film is simply THE coming of age movie and its characters and dialogue erase all of its technical flaws. If you’ve been living under a rock, I suggest you watch this film.
