I really lacked a connection to this one. Found the collided worlds concept to be a strange direction to go with, wish they had stayed solely in the monster Hunter universe. The characters have moments of endearment but are pretty one-dimensional. The action was a mixed bag—some awesome monster fighting sequences alongside some excessively cut human combat that was often too frantic to follow. The synth music was weak compared to the game series’ epic soundtrack. Suppose overall it was a fun watch. Thankful that PWSA doesn’t drag out his movies and knows how to keep a tight pace.
