Looking for interesting film criticism and to rate the films I see.
I may have to expound my thoughts on No Time To Die some day but for now, I’m left mesmerized by an amazing conclusion to Craig’s Bond.
Of course Fukunaga directs a beautiful film. Most of our main players here achieve performances that standout amongst Bonds entire canon as the best. The story is so rich in my opinion. It’s mythological metaphor that tells a tale of family bonds broken, and created.
It was magical.
There’s a lot to be said of The Green Knight. It, like the source material it so slavishly adapts, has to be interpreted and reflected upon. So much so that a Letterboxd review from myself would surly be inadequate.
For sure though The Green Knight is a beautiful picture. Patel is great, with co-star Alicia Vikander deserving special recognition for her dual roles.
