Andy Summers’s review published on Letterboxd:
Of all the comic-book movies out there, this is the one I most hoped would get a sequel. It had everything going for it. From a cool-as-fuck Keanu dispatching demons back to Hell, to the stunning visual flair brought to us by Francis Lawrence's imaginative representation of Alan Moore's writing, this is up there with the best in supernatural action films. Rachel Weisz also brings class to a film that despite numerous watches remains as fresh as the first time I saw it. Whoever thought about casting Peter Stormare as Lucifer and Tilda as Gabriel deserves immense credit as it was inspired.
