Andy Summers’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Call me Snake."
Futuristic nightmare from John Carpenter that epitomises 80's ideas of the future. Kurt Russell plays the anti-hero charged with saving the president after his plane goes down inside a Manhattan Island that is now a super-prison that encompasses the nation's criminals. Lee Van Cleef plays the warden who suckers the legendary Snake Plisken into a hellish New York.
Has dated more than a little but still a great movie.
