Dead Moon Night’s review published on Letterboxd:
When the colors have faded and the world is in pain, three men goes on a journey to a place of hope to find a room where wishes comes true.
I choose to say that I've saved the cinema of Andrei Tarkovsky for special occasions, when I'm ready to really pay attention and I've been wanting to watch his Stalker for a very long time. Just like with Solaris (which I loved) I watched Stalker while being home sick from work, with no interruptions whatsoever.
There's a mystical aura surrounding Stalker. It's a spellbinding experience with an almost hypnotic soundscape and it's one of the most fascinating creations I've ever seen. I thought Solaris was amazing but Stalker is even better, an instant favorite movie of mine and even though this was my first time watching it I know that it will grow on me each time I revisit it and I know we will be meeting each other many times down the road. Stalker is pure movie magic!
