Until an injury forced me to quit, I was a huge cycling fanatic. I trained twenty hours a week, every week. I was never good enough to go pro or anything, but I loved it. I still watch every race there is to watch, trying not to be bitter watching former opponents and teammates riding those big events. In two days time, the biggest yearly cycling race on Earth starts again: the 108th Tour de France. Tadej Pogačar and Primož Roglič are the favourites to win, but the startlist also contains the names of five guys I used to ride with, including former teammate and top five contender Steven Kruijswijk. To celebrate, I'll be watching one French film by a French director for each of the Tour de France's 21 stages between June 26th and July 18th. I'll rank them once I've completed the challenge.
