    La La Land

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

People love what other people are passionate about.

First watch in 4K. Damien Chazelle is one of my favourite directors and I think this is my 6th viewing. Very long review incoming, I have a lot to say.

Love this black and white to colour logo change then it transitions to the sky, camera pans down and we are on the freeway. Another day of sun plays and the entire musical sequence is all in a long take. One of the…

I am not the Zodiac. And if I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you.

I watched this soon as it was released and haven’t watched it since, I thought it was good but not god tier Fincher and the whole charade of this being very similar to Bong’s Memories Of Murder (2003), shocker I’ve done a 180, Zodiac is a lot better than I remember.

Effortlessly it does a brilliant job of displaying information to the audience, so much is thrown…

Chris Brown can do no wrong!

I’ve always enjoyed how much of a heart this film has & boyy did I forget about all the hilarious stereotypical offensive jokes, this film would not be made in 2021. I miss 2012 so much.

Fun fact: James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli traditionally never allows any James Bond theme to be used in other movies, but Seth MacFarlane wrote her a letter asking for permission to use "All Time High" from Octopussy (1983), as…

    Tom & Jerry

Hey did you just Batman me?

Trust the bad reviews, missed opportunity, it’s not the worst film I’ve ever seen but it does end up as one of this years worsts, maybe the Dolittle of 2021? Crazy how old Chloë Grace Moretz is now, I feel old.

Fun fact: This is the second Tom and Jerry movie to be theatrical, after Tom and Jerry: The Movie (1992), as well as the first one to be live-action and animated, there’s also a credits scene.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

There are no two words in the english language more harmful than good job.

I’ve watched the shit out of this film when it was released, I know the entire script off book, I actually can’t remember the last I watched this or how many times I’ve seen it. First watch in 4K and it’s crystal clear, seven years later Whiplash is still just as exciting, powerful and inspiring.

The first 5-10 minutes are the most crucial minutes in a…
