BREAKING: Catholic Church reverses centuries long stance against vampires as enemies of the church. They now should be hailed as angels and saints to carry out God’s good work!

Definitely preferred Hill House. The writing and narrative are both quite solid, and I’m always a fan of slow burn horror, but I really didn’t feel like Midnight Mass brought anything really special to the table. This is basically just a vampire show with catholic lore mixed in—although this mix is one of the most compelling parts of the show, and I really enjoyed the quotations of bible verses in the dialogue. I wasn’t a fan of the soundtrack, and  a lot of the interactions between characters felt sappy and soapy to me.
