The Sixth Sense

The Sixth Sense

Did not expect to like this so much on rewatch, the trailer was awful; but the golden rule of the 90’s remains: bad trailers, great films. Easily Shyamalans “masterpiece” — but that doesn’t say much because he hasn’t made a good film since than — and probably will never unless he learns how to untie all the knots he creates in his convoluted stories, however in this one, he manages to, and does so well, and ended up making one of the most influential & brilliant “horror films” of the past fifty years.

Side note: I watched this with my sister, and we all had to explain to her the twist. She had no idea what was going on. She thought the movie was about time travel. Oh well.
