Diogo Serafim’s review published on Letterboxd:
‘I just want to see you and hold you.’
Keep on living. The most precious sentimental education. Like most films done by To with Ka-Fai, this is deeply emotional and very free structurally, a bit all over the place, so inventive and heartfelt with an expansive iconography of puppies, colorful umbrellas, dying plants, radiant sunflowers, red chopsticks and destroyed Mercedes. Absolutely invigorating and heartbreaking. Impossible not to fall in love with Sammi Cheng in this film.
