Literally like a dream. A sweet, mature and harmonic love letter to Classic Hollywood and the change to New Hollywood, while simultaneously being a respectful farewell of its time and Sharon Tate.
The last shot is the finest scene in Tarantino’s career. A scene that will always move me in tears and makes this his most emotional film yet.
It wouldn’t have surprised me, if this was Tarantino’s last film. There isn’t a more perfect way to end his career with a love letter to all the movies and genres that influenced him.
This film’s a dream and it’s up to you, if you wanna stay in it or wake up. For me, I feel I could stay in it forever. But that’s just a dream.
Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood gets better with time and time will tell, if this is going to be remembered as his best film
