Udo Kier has never been better. Writer/director Todd Stephens pays loving tribute to the gay pioneers of generations past; the people who gave hope and joy simply by having the boldness to be their own larger than life selves.
I saw this in a theater with Mr. Kier himself in attendance. He was obviously delighted by the audience's enthusiastic response. During the Q&A afterwards he said that there was no acting in this movie. This performance gave him a chance to really be himself for a change.
