As a work of experimental art it's commendable, but there's some essence lost in trying to reconstruct some of the core themes amidst all the unnecessary bells and whistles.
Thematically engrossing, yet basic in premise.
There's nothing more romantic than escaping away to the countryside, but we soon learn that this idealism isnt enough to dissuade the reality of our protagonists. Sexual tension and parental influence has so much impact on this story youd be hard pressed to find a scene without either, but I think the few are my favorite in how they showcase beautiful, romantic life.
Picturesque drama unfolds before you as you're drawn into the fray of young love in this film, so sit back and enjoy.
